Skip the elevator line
The line at the Main Tower entrance splits in two. The left line waits for the elevator. The right line goes to the stairs, and on most days you walk straight in.
The elevator only goes to the 5th floor. Everyone climbs the last three floors to the observation deck anyway, so the stairs only add floors 1 to 5.

An e-ticket skips the ticket window, not the elevator line. Adults pay 1,200 yen. High school and university students pay 600 yen. Junior high school students and younger enter free.
Opening hours
The Main Tower is open 9:00 to 18:00, with last entry at 17:30. It closes from December 28 to January 1. The park around it is free and open all day.
